Mishe Report Club Campaign: First-Do Spot Patch Set Review

Being a person who loves Korean beauty products and trying free stuff,  I was thrilled to be part of the Mishe Report Club by Mishe Beauty.  Mishe Beauty offers a variety of Korean Beauty products ranging from Skin Care, Hair Care and Bath & Body. The newly launch Mishe Report Club allows Korean Beauty enthusiast like me to browse through the ongoing campaigns and apply to products I'd like to try for free. If selected for the campaign, the product would be directly sent to you, and all you have to do is try the product and post the review after.

Fortunate enough, I was selected to my first campaign right after I registered and applied for products to try. I was chosen for the Artpe First-Do Spot Patch Campaign. Yay!

I received a box with 3 sets of different sizes of patches. 4 pieces of 23mm Micro-Pyramid Spot patches, 9 pieces of 14mm Micro-Pyramid Spot patches and 12 pieces of Clear Spot Patches.

So what is MICRO-PYRAMID SPOT PATCH SET?

It's a set of micro-needle acne patch that delivers treatments to eliminate blemishes and minimize the spread of bacteria. Each clear adhesive patch utilizes micro-needle to provide salicylic acid, green tea extract, and hyaluronic acid to help control troubled skin and blemishes. Salicylic acid treats blemishes and prevents the formation of new breakouts, green tea extract works on the skin-dwelling bacteria involved in the development of problem skin, and hyaluronic acid keeps skin hydrated. (as detailed in Mishe Beauty's website).

It's good to know that this product is free of Parabens, Synthetic Colors & Fragrance. It's ideal for Oily and Acne-prone Skin Types.

My Experience:

This product arrived just in time when my not-so-friendly pimples are coming out. I immediately tried using it the night of the day I received the products. It is best to use this product before bed time since it has to be left for at least 8-12 hours. It should be applied to clean and dry skin, choosing the right patch size that can cover the pimples or blemishes and pressing it down for 10 seconds. It is not advisable to put any cream or moisturizer to your face before applying the patches since it may reduce its ability to adhere to your skin. You can use the same patch on the same spot but not more than 3 times. I use my patches twice only before I disregard them. I remove the patches every morning upon waking up.

Within 3 night of consecutively using the patches, I noticed that my pimples had dried out faster and since it's isolated, it prevented the bacteria to spread to the surrounding skin that will likely to cause another pimple or in a worst case scenario, breakouts. It doesn't dry out my skin as well as you may expect from a product with a Salicylic acid, thanks to the Hyaluronic acid that it also has.

Overall, I am pretty much satisfied with this product and will consider buying more of these in the future.

That being said, out of thousands of people who applied for this Lovidia TryaBox opportunity, I was one of the 300 participants that have been selected.

I really wanted this product so bad because I've wanted to lose some weight and control my eating (for some reason I am always hungry😒), and given that it's a dietary supplement that will supposedly control your hunger, I was thrilled when I was selected.

I received a TryaBox valued at $55+, containing the following items:

My Lovidia TryaBox Kit

It was indeed a generous sampling package. I received 2 sample boxes with 12 tablets each plus 20 extra Lovidia tablets, enough for a month's supply to try or to share. 

What's Lovidia? It is a science-based, clinically proven dietary supplement that claims to effectively solves your struggle on eating less to lose weight and constantly fight hunger and cravings by helping you get more satisfaction from less food. It gives you the power to avoid overeating, hence, reaching your weight loss goals.

What're the ingredients?  According to the guide book I received, the ingredients in Lovidia’s hunger-control blend are all natural, non-stimulatory, vegan, non-GMO, non-caloric, gluten free and dairy-free. The ingredients are designated as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the US FDA. Hunger Control Blend: Stevia leaf extract, L-glutamine, L-leusine, lysine hydrochloride, pomegranate fruit extract. Other Ingredients: dextrose, sodium alginate, modified cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, glycerin, stearic acid. 

My Experience:

So without further ado, here's my take about these pills. First, they are quite big for those who don't like taking pills. In my case, I don't have problems with it. The pills do not have after taste when you swallow it, which is a good thing. I started taking 2 tablets a day. One tablet in the morning around 10 am and one tablet in the afternoon around 6 pm. The first few days of taking the pills, I started experiencing mild headaches. I had strong reasons to believe that it might be caused by the pills since I tried to stop taking it for a while and the headaches didn't bother me during those times. But since I am really determined to finish the sampling trial and incorporate Lovidia in my weight loss program, I continued using it again. This time, I reduced the pills intake to 1 tablet a day, which I take every afternoon because I usually get hungry at night, where I badly needed to control my hunger and late night eating habits.

I also downloaded their app -  the Lovidia Way to help me keep my progress. But for some reasons, the weight tracker, which is one of a useful tool for me didn't work my entire sampling period. However, the recipes included in the app helped me in some ways.

I started at 155 lbs. Before this sampling opportunity, my husband and I already decided to get a gym membership at the Local Gym in our area. We also tried to start being more mindful of what we ate and tried to have healthier food choices. It was HARD. Going to the gym was actually the easy part, but food choices were a struggle. 

We manage to be able to eat good food and reduced eating junk. Yes, once in a while, we do "cheat days" too. And yes, this is where Lovidia should come to play a needed part. But to tell you honestly, instead of controlling my hunger, Lovidia made it worse. I feel hungrier! Oh no! I did not notice any changes in my hunger, and it was indeed frustrating. However, I did not let it ruin my goal of at least losing even a pound. Although I continue taking the Lovidia pills, I no longer rely on it. Instead, I keep making healthy choices. Whenever I feel hungry, I grab trail mixes - nuts, raisins, etc. I forced myself to keep going to the gym (although sometimes I don't feel like going and my husband is not available). Now, I have the drive and not dependent to any supplement.

Final Words.  I won't say Lovidia is not useful at all because I saw many people who participated in this sampling program that had a positive result, some are amazing results! I think my body is not used to the pills if that makes sense. I do believe that our bodies are different in so many ways, and one of the differences was the ability to react on certain supplements. Anyway, I enjoyed this sampling opportunity and thankful to Tryazon and Lovidia for giving me the chance to try this product.

P.S.  I actually lost 7 lbs in between my journey. But now I am back up to 2 pounds. I am currently weighing 150 lbs. Not bad for a starter, right? I am keeping my hopes high in this personal weight loss journey of mine.😊

PINCHme BOX #1

After 2 months of being a member, I finally got my first sample box from Pinchme! It sure does have interesting products that are worth a try.

So, here is the list of the products I received:

4. Scotch-Brite™ Lint Roller - This is a surprise additional product included in my Pinchme Box! This comes in handy for my husband's coats/jackets. However, I am a little disappointed about this because when I used it, it did not entirely remove the lints from my husband's clothes.

June IPSY Glambag

I have a love-hate relationship with Ipsy. Like I wanted to keep subscribed but at the same time, I just really wanted the free bag I received from a friend. The latter choice won but unfortunately, I forgot to cancel it on time, so here it is my June Ipsy Glam bag! 

I love trying new things, especially beauty products and I am currently drawn to subscription boxes, but I am trying hard to resist as I don't see a need for an additional expense that would hurt our current little budget. 😀

So, although I felt sorry that I wasn't able to cancel my subscription on time, I can honestly say that I felt excited receiving and opening it.

I have kind of interesting products in my bag that I actually haven't tried at all. So here are the products included in my June Glam Bag:

💖The NYX Professional Makeup Whipped Lip & Cheek Souffle in Cocoa Bean shade. It's a Nude Brown color that can also be used for contouring. Although I found this product interesting and has never tried it before, I chose to gift it to one of my friends.

💖The Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in 24 Karat shade. I fell in love with its vibrant gold shimmer shade that looks good on my eyes. It has a Gel Formula that is super pigmented and vibrant in color. I used it multiple times already, and it's a long-lasting wear liner which I love. 

💖2 BioRepublic Skincare in Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask & Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask. I haven't tried any of them since I have other sheet masks to seek to review, but I am always excited about new masks to try so this would definitely be in my lineup before the end of this month, hopefully. 

💖theBalm Cosmetics Balm Springs Blush in a Rosy blush shade. It's super tiny, but I found the packaging nice. The color was pretty, but since I live in Florida, it didn't last long and faded quickly unlike its claims to be a long-wearing blush.

💖The City Color Cosmetics Shimmer Shadow in Cheers to Life shade. I did love the bronze color, but I am no fan of glitters and super shiny colors regarding beauty products, so this one was also gifted to a friend.

Although there is still a part of me that wanted to retain this subscription, I managed to cancel it this time. So, this might be my last Ipsy Glam bag....for now!
